This Picture should evoke Horror and Terror in the hearts and minds of any bride, bride-to-be, or bride-that-was. But alas, in Second Life you can jump in the cool refreshing water in your wedding gown and look GORGEOUS!!! Not to mention, when you jump out of the water... you are instantly dry, your dress doesnt smell of ocean, and you ready as ever to dance the night away! Where else can you go swimming in a gown or pose for photos in a wedding gown,...IN THE WATER! I knew I had something here when I was fooling around with snapshots so I wanted to take a moment and put it up for whoever might stop by.

Over the past few months House of Dashwood has been making a few changes in the direction of the line. While most lines usually start with a focus, here at House of Dashwood we experimented a little and tried a few different things before settling on what I knew all along. House of Dashwood will be known from here on out for Bridal and Formal wear. In the small store we will still sell some costumes and swimwear but as a designer I must stay true to what I do best. I hope you will agree with me when you see the latest gowns from House of Dashwood that Bridal is where I belong.

And perhaps like the movie Wall-E came into being many years after its inception, the House of Dashwood period inspired collection will find its way to the market someday as well.

Vogue Valentine @ House of Dashwood!!!

Ok, yes it has been awhile, but noboday reads this blog anyway so i have been promoting sans photos on twitter and today I was published by FashionfeedofSl.com, so here i am i will post something:

I have been hard at work trying to create looks that will be festive and interesting for one of the biggest holidays in SL ----VALENTINE"S DAY!

WINTER WHITE!!!!

Available NOW at HOUSE OF DASHWOOD!!!...PSSSST....Only $1L on Xstreet for one week!!!!finally was able to fully release these two "amazing" gowns...(if i do say so myself)... I worked hard on the textures for the "Allison" Gown pictured left.... the ballgown..."BELLA" came together better... Slim gowns are much more difficult to do in SL... I think that is why you dont see many of them or the ones you do see just don't look that great!...Well I hope you dont think that about "Allison." The gown moves great...it has two underskirt attachments to fill it out at the bottom. ... Both these gowns are MOD...so you can change the color to your fav if you like...but I thought for winter...i would do WINTER WHITE!!!....

"Bella" is the Poofy Princess Gown to the MAX!!!!...TWO PRIM SKIRTS! The top one is mostly transparent to give an ORGANZA effect. The Beading almost ..(but not..the bodice is opaque...) Again, as with "Allison," "Bella's" Poofy skirts move great!... Havent tested the dancing yet.. will have to do that and i will take some pics!!! Hope you like these winter fantasy gowns by Dashwood!!!
